On June 9, 2025, Michelle W. Bowman took the oath of office as Vice Chair for Supervision of the Federal Reserve Board on Monday. President Trump nominated Bowman on March 24, 2025, and the United States Senate confirmed her on June 4.
Bowman will serve as Vice Chair for Supervision until June 9, 2029, and her term as a member of the Board is until January 31, 2034. She has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System since 2018. Prior to her appointment to the Board, she served as the state bank commissioner of Kansas.
