Federal Reserve Issues Supervision and Regulation Report

On November 9, 2023, the Federal Reserve Board issued its November 2023 Supervision and Regulation Report. The report summarizes banking conditions and the Federal Reserve’s supervisory and regulatory activities, in conjunction with semiannual testimony before Congress by the Vice Chair for Supervision.

The Board’s Supervision and Regulation Report focuses on developments in three areas: banking system conditions, regulatory Developments, and supervisory developments.

There are not a lot of compliance or BSA-related topics in the report but it is beneficial to read this from a risk management’s perspective as this is what the Federal Reserve is looking at in financial institutions.

The FRB’s can be found here.
